Haven't updated this in ages so here goes...

Leaving Changmai - we took a 6 hour mini bus from Changmai to Changkong via the white temple in Changrai - it was so pretty, glad we saw it! Then we continue d onto the s***hole that is Changkong (the border town to Laos). Stayed in a bloody horrible depressing motel, which was nowhere near the town, was served cold rice with a cold fried egg on for dinner, then went to bed at 7.30pm just to eecape the hellhole. Woke up for our free breakfast which was a cup of tea and then Karina asked where the food was and we was given cold toast and eggs. We then went to the border to do our visa on arrival to get into Laos. Unfortunately for me, I took my malaria tablet on an empty stomach and it kicked in so I spent about a hour throwing up in to a bag hoping the Laos would still let me in their country. Boarded the slowboat with all our supplys (beer) and we proceeded to play drinking games all afternoon, we stopped over at a place halfway down the Mekong amd continued to drink whilst having a yummy indian!

Boarded the slowboat again the next day as a completely different group - we was all tired, hanging and cold. Arrived in Luang prabang and continued the tradition of staying in Spicy hostels and booked in to Lemon Laos (spicy laos). Went out in a big group, had dinner and got wasted, ended the night at the bowling alley as it is the only place open late.

Spent the next few nights drinking, visiting waterfalls, bowling and at the nightmarket and then boarded the bus to Vangvieng...

Vangvieng is awesome, spent the first day chilling and watching friends then we all started drinking buckets and beers. Ended up in Kangaroo bar hammered and doing balloons. The next day we did tube caving, visited the elephant cave and then started the process of kayaking for 2.5 hours down the river. It was scary, Liam almost decapitated himself by paddling at full speed into a tree. Then we had an easy night as the next day was tubing!

Started the morning with a bucket and beers, went tubing, got mortal! Bag leaked so we arenow down 2 phones and a camera. Was an amazing day though so funny. Continued drinking all night and was dancing on thr tables at kangaroo. Ended the night all up on the veranda of our hostel cracking up till the early hours. Yesterday visited the blue lagoon, was pretty but we just slept in the shade as we was hanging!

Today just chilled, im not very well and we said goodbye to some of the Spicy crew, all going separate ways. Sad times!

Tomorrow its off to Vientiane...
