After 11 hours on a flight, we have arrived both tired & grumpy in sunny Sri Lanka.

It was a lovely 29 degrees when we landed at 11am...Not that we saw the sun as our transit hotel is inside arrivals.

Weve checked in and been sleeping all day as it was pretty hard to sleep on the plane. We had ALL the kids near us (to be fair though they didnt cry much, I think I whinged more). We also had a girl who went through about 5 sickbags and also a crazy indian lady who was having what sounded like a panic attack and kept shouting "oh oh oh oh ah ah ah ah someone help me". Cracked me up.

Anyway only another 13 hours till our flight to Bangkok and amazing 34 degree heat followed by an overnight train journey - bet your all jel... not! Haha.
