Well, here we are back in Turkiye waiting at Istanbul for our flight to Bodrum in about 4 hours. Good flights - 9 1/2 and 101 /2, with 6 hours in Singapore. Good flights and plenty of sleep. The last weeks in Brisbane were hectic - not helped by Peter getting our departure day wrong by one whole day. We managed a last catch up with Peter's families which involves his daughter and her partner and three grandsons and their partners and saw little great grandson Waylon again. He'd changed a lot in that short time!

Because of the earthquake here we decided to bring extra antibiotics and suchlike in case of shortages and also not to impact on their supplies which meant a couple of quick last doctors visits along with everything else. One of the everything elses was going to Sydney for three nights to apply for extended Greek visas for our next lot of travels. This meant a financial report, doctors report, police report etc. We ended up with two years temporary residency which will relieve us from having to leave the Schengen countries for three months every three months! Phew. It's much like what we've been doing in Turkiye.

We are looking forward to getting back to Entre Nous and heading off. Both will be on diets! A bit hard for the first week as the people in Didim will be using us as an excuse to go out eating and drinking……..oh well….the following week then!
