hi everyone! first of all thanks for all your happy birthday messages... was good to receive them being so far away!!! well just a quick update today: i have arrived at backpackers paradise in outdshoorn and it seems really nice. i came by BB to george and then there was a shuttle service here which took about an hour... i was noticing on this ride how ultimately different the scenery is here! it is quite high up here and we were winding up and up in the truck... you've seen some of my pictures of some of the scenery i've come across so far, well i cant put these ones i've just taken on just yet but i'll try and give you a description. the first thing that comes to mind when i try and describe it is english countryside suprisingly enough except 10x more dramatic! it is green and shrubby but it is really really stunningly dramatic!!!! there are mountains and hills which really look like bunched up velvet rolling around the structures... was quite something to see!!!!!!!! thats all i can really think of to say at the moment which seems sooooo inadequate to describe it its just i'm not much good with words and it was so unusual i've never seen anything like it therefore have no idea how to begin describing it! anyhow i'll try and take lots of pictures on my cycle ride tomorrow around the pass so i can show all of you when i get back and you can form your own opinions!!! as per usual, cant wait to see you all! miss you m xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
