Yesterday was such an amazing day. I was picked up by my tour guide, this time in a jeep, to head towards the jungle. We were headed to Phnom Koulen National Park which is a mountain that's considered very holy and a pilgrimage site for many. Yesterday I spent the day at the remains of the temples at Angkor Wat. I was picked up by my guide and a Tuk Tuk driver (see photos) and we took off for the temples bright and early. The temples I saw were Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the Bayon Temple, and lastly Ta Phrom. Angkor Wat is the most famous temple, absolutely breathtaking. Hard to imagine that all of it was built by hand and hand sculpted. The Bayon temple is known for its 54 headed Buddha statues....

Hello from Cambodia! I've made it safely to Siem Reap! Both of my flights went well.. For the most part. My first flight left 30 minutes late from San Fran, making my connection in Seoul, South Korea, much tighter. Lucky for me, the flight attendants moved everyone with a tight connection up to first class for the last 30 mins of the 12 hour flight so we could be the first off the plane.
