After Luang Prabang I travelled down by bus to Vang Vieng - a tiny little town on the river surrounded by huge mountains - it's really beautiful but a little strange! The bars and restaurants along the one main road are purely for toursits and they all have 'Friends' showing all day, everyday! It was actually quite nice to sit down for a couple of hours and watch TV to be honest but still it just didnt seem right! Went tubing the on the second day - you get a big rubber ring and float down the river. Along the riverside there's little huts selling beer Lao - there's also zip wires and giant swings you can jump into the water from. When you want to stop at a place you just wave and they pull you in with a bamboo cane - it's fantastic! I went on the giant swing and I screamed like a baby!
