On Mon 15th I joined the Moose Tour. Getting up at the crack of dawn (7.30am!) I joined the bus at 8.15 and got on the road. On the tour there was our driver Mike, the drunk aussies Locky and Kirsten, the kiwi Sabrina, the drunk brit Joe, the anti social Brazilians, the cool brits, Hannah, Rosie and Sarah, the three swizz, Nadine, Nadine and Jolanda, Gary, the top quality Japanese Snowy and the married couple Alex and Phil. The first stop was The Big Apple- nope...

So on Sat 13th and Sunday 14th I wandered around the city with Rasheeda my new American friend. We first went to the Inuit Art Gallerym, that was randomly in a office building, but was free and had loads of sculptures. We found a parade celebrating India's independence Day and then an afternoon of dance shows of traditional dancing from around india, some alot better than others!! So here I am 3 days in and loving Canada. The first afternoon I had a little wander around the immediate area around the hostel and discovered the CN Tower (didn't go up, still debating if its worth the money!) and the baseball stadium, and overly pricey food! However I did find an amazing Burrito place for a burrito meal for $10 incl tax which is great here! Anyway after that I went back to the hostel and on Wednesday the Art Gallery of Ontario is free after 6p...

So I have arrived!! I am safely in my hostel in Toronto. It all started off not so greatthough... Train to Glasgow was hour late, but when I got to Glasgow I have the wonderful reception of Jill and Graeme (who I met in Fiji- and Audrey came along for dinner too so it was a proper reunion!) I had a fab time catching up with them and a lush roast dinner cooked by Jill- and cheesecake by Graeme ;) I got to the airport at 8am, checked in fine, had an emotional farew...

So I am currently at home, biding my time to be off on this trip. Tommorrow, well technically later today, I head off for my first stop to the Campbell's house in Glasgow. Then on Wednesday I fly to Toronto!! I have had a major stress on today that I could not fit everything in my bag that i needed (wanted- is there a difference?) to take!
