So I have arrived!!
I am safely in my hostel in Toronto.
It all started off not so greatthough...
Train to Glasgow was hour late, but when I got to Glasgow I have the wonderful reception of Jill and Graeme (who I met in Fiji- and Audrey came along for dinner too so it was a proper reunion!)
I had a fab time catching up with them and a lush roast dinner cooked by Jill- and cheesecake by Graeme ;)
I got to the airport at 8am, checked in fine, had an emotional farewell convo with my mam and dad and then I boarded the flight.
So heres the catch, extra leg room seats, awesome do what they say on the tin... not so good when they are also narrower- so I had to squeeze my fat ass in, but i got there and 7 hours later I arrived here!
I did however spend most fo the flight second guessing myself and geting myself into a proper tizz because I don't have an outward flight and i started to worry that that wasn't OK. it was fine sailed through the immigration and passport control (god they needed to smile!!!) and then i went out into the rain- yes thats right, leave it pouring in Glasgow for it to be pouring in Toronto!!
one bus and 2 subways later it is boiling and I am lathered by the time I have done the 15minute walk from the subway!
The hostel is possibly one of the most obliging I have ever been to- reserving me a bottom bunk coz if my ankle even thoguh they don't alocate beds!!
So i am off to try and get some boring stuff sorted, then I am going to do a free trip to the Art Gallery- hopefully make some friends on that!
