On Mon 15th I joined the Moose Tour. Getting up at the crack of dawn (7.30am!) I joined the bus at 8.15 and got on the road. On the tour there was our driver Mike, the drunk aussies Locky and Kirsten, the kiwi Sabrina, the drunk brit Joe, the anti social Brazilians, the cool brits, Hannah, Rosie and Sarah, the three swizz, Nadine, Nadine and Jolanda, Gary, the top quality Japanese Snowy and the married couple Alex and Phil.

The first stop was The Big Apple- nope not NYC- buta giant apple and an factory solely dedicated to different types of apple products, so there was cookies, pies and even bread (Tracey you will be amazed to hear I didn't have any)

Next we headed to The Thousand Islands (of the salad dressing fame) and went of a boat cruise, crossed into US borders, and saw the shortest border bridge- 10 foot long and connecting two island one apparantly US territory and one Canadian.

From there we headed into Montreal and into the hostel. Everyone headed out for a night out, but as I was trying to save the pennies I opted t ostay in- which meant heading to the dorm to potentially be started at byt my Canadian roomie (however result, she wasn't in)

On Tuesday I felt as rough as the others looked after just not being able to get much sleep. We left the hostel (minus 2 casualties of beer) and head up to the top of Mont Royal- awesome views of the city. Next our bus dropped us off at the old town to explore the city. We had a wander, had lunch at the Port and the headed to the famed underground city, we were sorely disappointed when it was just an underground shopping mall (probably pretty awesome in winter- not so much in summer!)

Wee next aimed for the latin quarter- but somehow stumbled into the Village- I think we got pulled in by al lthe pink bauble strung between the lights!

That night we played drinking games in the hostelm, and me Hannah and Rosie headed t othe Irish bar. As we were at the bar discussing what to drink inrelation to cost, thins guy said he would buy our drinks. He turned out to be a pervy multimillionairre, propositioned us all through Hannah, strangely enough none of us took him up on his offer however we did take his drinks. Thanks Simon!
