After 14 hours on the train and a 4 hours drive we arrive in Halong Bay, not that you could see it because it was so cloudy. Said goodbye to our nice hotel and took a 4 hour bus to the next stop...Hue. Arrived around lunchtime and headed straight out to eat before the afternoons activity - a motorbike tour! Everyone was asking about the sorts of things we would see, I just wanted to know if they provided us with helmets?! After 11 hours on the ropey train we arrived in Hoi An! I think when we all saw how nice the hotel was...with pool...we all got a bit excited. Arrived in Nha Trang around 4.30am...everyone a little tired and some very hungover. Hotel was only 5 mins away so quickly dumped my bag and went for a run. Even at 5.30am the place was so busy, people cooking at the side of the road and doing what they do. Got to the beach just in time to watch the sun come up over the mountains and ran along the sand till we found an aerobics class so joined in on that for a while.
