We got a coach to luang prabang in central laos, it took 8 hours up and down mountains. we found a really cheap guesthouse called nittaya which was only 40,000 kip a night ( about 2 pound)
We went out for dinner by the mekong and watched the fantastic sunset We went on to the main steet which was full of bars and hippy shops, and found a bar which played funky house.
we got a tuk tuk to a park which had a beautiful high waterfall and lots of small ones coming off it that you could swim under it started to rain and the ground got really slippy simon fell and got covered in mud and had to wash his clothes in the river. The park also had bears and tigers that had been taken off people and now lived there

It was simons 25th birthday .......oh sorry 35th the electric went AGAIN so there was no fans and it was baking hot That night we went to the hive bar and had drinks by candle light. to celebrate.
We went to update our website but somthing went wrong and emma lost all her photos, the memory card wipped and we spent 3 hours trying to get the photos off the computer on to disk and failed so all the pictures are lost

Luang prabang is really a really quiet beautiful place with lots of buddist monks and temples everywhere shuts before 10pm
