We got picked up and taken to our boat not before getting stock of beer and food including 2 live chickens,we set off ,there was me and emma, the only english,3 frenchguys,1 italian ,3 norwegians ,a guy from hawaii and his japanese wife and another japenese girl, the boat was not at all luxurious it was small with 2 levels, 1 small whole in the floor toilet , no showers or fresh water, the first night we anchored up after sailing for about 3 hours, we all started drinking, some were diving in and swimming (it was pitch black,miles out to sea) then we found a space to sleep, it was freezing and all we had was a wafer thin damp matress and a musty old blanket. At 3am the boat started up waking everybody up .....well those who could sleep some people had attatched hammocks to the sides, they were now violently swinging back and forth ,it was halerious, it was now cold ,unconfortable and noisey, we had on and off sleep until we stopped a couple of times to snorkle and eat ,the snorkling was amazing known as one of the worlds best places to dive.    After having  the same tasteing noodles for 2 days Simon decided  to try and catch some fich and within 5 minutes had caught 3 squid , everyone was exited at eating anything other then noodles, we asked the chief to cook them in some garlic butter, the guy from hawaii dove down and came up with a giant clam and a poisonous urchin which his japanese wife began to eat (alive) it was very funny , our squid came out  but as i cut into it ink came splurting out so i did nt eat any , the japanese girls did until they had ink allover their face. we continued to sail on stopping every now and then to snorkle and visit islands, the scenory was breathtaking then we got to komodo and we spent the day walking around watching the dragons , some were huge . We went to Rhinca to see some more dragons then onto Flores we both think this boat trip was one of the real highlights of our time travelling .
