We got to Sanur, booked into a big luxurious hotel with a beautiful beach and waisted no time having a drink at the bamboo bar, for dinner we took simons mum and dad out for their last night. In the morning we had breakfast and said our fairwells, then stayed around the pool that day making the most of the luxury before going back to budget. We found a guesthouse close by for 70,000rp inc breakfast (about ?4.50),then returned to bamboo bar for 2 for 1cocktailsand live singers. Simon got well and truely hammered, so much so that he could no longer walk with his backpack and insisted on getting a taxi the few hundred meters to our guesthouse.....little did we know it was a one way street and it would have been much quicker to walk.....well with the way Simon was stumbleing perhaps not. The next day got bus to the port where we caught a ferry to lombok.
