We all moved hotels to the west coast (Medewi bay retreat) it was very nice, Quiet and in the middle of no where, not a bar or resturant for miles, just little villages and roadside stalls that sold the very basic of supplies. We were shown to our room but before the man could show us how to make the sofa bed we were suprisingly upgraded to a 3 bedroom palace right on the pool, it was an amazing apartment, we had hit the jackpot. We again lazed around the pool relaxing in the luxury. One day we got some bikes out and had a ride about it was knackering, especially on the sand , which was a volcanic black, more like tarmac than beach. Another day we got a bus to Nagara,the nearest town to us, we did a bit of shopping and went bak and simon cooked a potato curry, we could not find any meat in the town We were there too late the market had all sold out The last day we contacted a friendly cab driver called Bennie to take us to Sanur.
