Emma's Travels
I spent my last week in Koh Phagnan. The weather wasn't always amazing but I spent the week sunbathing between showers and partying. Also managed a day trip around the island. I am back in Bangkok now after 14hrs of travelling, and I am heading to South Africa this afternoon. Got another 30hrs travelling ahead of me so wish me luck. I don't think I will have great Internet access in Africa but I will try and let you know I have arrived safely. I will soon be on safari, can't wait!!

Granny Glad to hear you have survived Thailand, hope Africa will be great. Many thanks for postcard. The Queensland cyclone has been pretty bad, but C and G -and their house - have survived. See you soon! Love Gran.
Emma I am currently sat in Singapore airport waiting for my next flight. Had a bit of a scare getting here as it would seem virgin failed to confirm this particular flight on my round the world ticket, resulting on me being put on standby and only being told I had a seat 45mins before take off. None the less I made it and am currently sat watching arsenal thrash new castle (because that's what they are playing on the tv in front of the comfy seats! Mo, my plan is a safari the 1st week I arrive in Kruger national park. The 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th weeks I will be in Swaziland volunteering in an orphanage. In the 4th week I am going to Mozambique. I'm not holding out much hoppe for the weather as I am going on the rainy season, and having experienced Queensland in it's rainy season, I know what to expect! However, I am sure it will still be amazing, and more interested in seeing the big 5! Val and Frank, tell me about it! I can't believe my trip is almost at an end already!!! I will let you know on the wild at heart front! Gran, I have been tracking cyclone yasi online and gather Townsville is still without power, but haven't heard about the floods they were also worried about?! Just very glad Catherine and Graeme are ok, must of been very scary! Lots of love Emma xxxx
