So much has happened and I do not have much internet time so I am going to put the highlights in bullet points;
-Wellington was beautiful, had a glorious day there, went to a museum which I thought had a maouri exhibition but due to my cough and cold (yes the one I brought from Childers, its still going strong!) has blocked my ears so at times my hearing is very poor and once in the museum we realised I had miss heard maouri for Maritime!! Got the cable car up to the botanical gardens and had a great view of the city, very nice day!!
-Got the ferry over to South island, was quite pretty but the windows were dirty so couldn't get good photos
-Went to Able Tasman National Park, got a ferry up the coast and then did a 8km walk back down through the forest and coastline, very pretty and had really good weather.
-Being eaten to death around the ankles by sandflies, really not a highlight!
-Done lots of walks and seen lakes, blow holes, pancake rocks and a seal colony (that was really good).
Camper tramps are getting worse, we have woken up a few times now next to signs which we didn't see when we arrived in the dark that say NO CAMPING! oops! and have now even had to resort to stealing showers in order to wash ourselves. Funds are getting low and so we have to use any means we can to survive...ahh!! But still enjoying it very much!
Hope you are all good and speak soon xxx
p.s. text me with your news as I don't get to the internet much!!!

Mum I've just looked at pictures and read details about where you are; all looks lovely. Mountain biking through the woods looks good. Lots of walking and early nights; my kind of holiday! How does the camper van look? I hope that Steph and Beth are tidier than you, otherwise it could be squalid! According to the NZ site it is warm and sunny out there. South Island seems to have lots of good places to explore and hopefully you all have enough money and energy to try out a few more activities. (Not sure that I like the look of "canyoning"). Speak to you very soon, love from us all, Mum xxxxxxxx
