Kirstin and I packed up and headed down to the 'ferry port' which consisted of a lot of Thai men and even more long boats, not a lot of communication but we made it across somehow. Our hotel is right on the beach which is amazing and although its a really basic room its still quiet comfortable. We did seem to be missing a sink in the bathroom, guess we are brushing our teeth under the shower for the next few days. Headed down to Pra Nang Beach (James Bond Island) which is incredible! Soo hot though. Had a dip in the sea and then grabbed some lunch off of one of the longtail boats moored on the beach.

Quick shower and then to explore the West Coast, really posh over there. I tried 'Roti' for the first time for dinner.

I learnt a very important lesson, never mix rum coke and a bucket, you will only get rum and you will feel very ill in the morning. Needless to say I made it until about 10:30 before I begged off and went home.
