Finally managed to get out of Auckland today which was a relief as although for a city it is quiet nice, after a few days you have seen all of the main sites and need a bit of greenery! Went to the Sky Tower today as although it is still raining here, by lunchtime it had cleared up a bit and the fog had lifted. The skytower is the tallest in the S. hemisphere and I got to go right to the top as I had a voucher from the hostel. The elavators go up the outside of the building as well meaning you can see out as you are going up. I could feel my ears popping with the pressure! After a very long couple of days I have finally arrived. From tears and tantroms at T5 on Monday to being in Auckland today! Incredibly jet lagged as didn't get a lot of sleep on either flight, despite the upgrade!
