Bit of a s***ty day, felt ill and everyone was having a lazy day while I wanted to get out there and see everything. Jo and Nicole arriving today though which will be really nice as I have missed them. Ended up having a really good night out and a great laugh which I think I was in need of for the last few days. Ended up staying in their room as everyone in my room had an early night and even got a hug off the bouncer.

Short drive today which was really good. Stopped off at puzzle world which was a very strange place, (Google it as I really don't know how to describe it). Then drove down to Kawarau bungy where a lot of people jumped off a bridge (the crazy lot). Headed down into Queenstown in the afternoon. Arrived in Wanaka in the afternoon. Stopped off at Mt Cook but it was pissing cats and dogs so we sat in the cafe and had breakfast as you couldn't see the reflections in the lake from the view point. Brought postcards instead! Drove through Haast which was really pretty as the sun finally came out. Stopped to have a look at a waterfall. Wanaka was beautiful with mountains a lake and loads of sunshine. Went for a run early evening time and then had a BBQ.

Up really early as did a full day hike up the glacier. Fairly hard walk and we were constantly putting on and taking off layers as it was boiling when you were walking up the glacier but as soon as you stopped it was freezing. Beautiful weather again though so managed to take loads of photos. Drank some of the glacial water as well which was really nice. Set off early to travel to Franz Josef. Perfect weather which is brilliant as if there is one place that you want good weather its in Franz! Stopped off at the Bushman's cetnre which was a deer hunting museum. Probably would have been quiet amusing if I wasn't so hungover from the previous evening.
