Packed up and left San Cristobel heading to Palenque. Managed to have a nap on the coach which was a good thing as loads more windy hilly roads. Humidity is incredible but we are in the jungle so expected as much. Lots of confusion over our room booking, staff here not great! However added bonus of a pool which we got straight into as soon as we could dig out the bikinis from the bottom of our bags.

On the top floor with a beautifful view over the jungle. Massive thunderstorm in the evening so sat on the balcony with a beer watching it for hours.
