Well, the adventure begins at home! We arrived in Geraldine last night, and as we were quietly having a cup of tea in the lounge, it started to rain. I looked up out the window and said 'Is that snow?'. Sure enough, sleet started turning to real snow. "It won't settle' they said. Within 10 minutes, this is what it looked like! Like the middle of winter! In November!! The world is going crazy!

And then today? A little frost on the ground, but by about 9am, sunny, beautiful and not the hint of snow! Craziness!! See the progression in my 'Snow in Geraldine' photo album.

One more day in New Zealand! Tomorrow morning at 10.30am I'll be on my way to Christchurch, and tomorrow morning at 10.30am I'll be landing in LA. Figure that one out!
