I landed in Bangkok yesterday after a delayed flight so i was very relieved to get to the hotel and meet the girls late Weds night. We then went out to a cocktail street stall in Khao San road, it was a crazy place really really busy and had to squat in the st if you wanted the loo..but i held it in! This morning me and Lianne went to get some noodles for breakfast from a street stall and it monsooned it down. Being me i just stood out in it feeling relieved for the coolness! Lianne went and bought a rather fetching pink poncho for herself...photos to come soon! hehe. We plan to go to the Grand Palace later today, the Chinatown tonight. We are off to Cambodia on Sat morning. So far so good!

Im now writing on Friday 31st. Happy Hallowen to everyone at home. we didnt end up doing really anything yest as the rain was unbelievable, literally got struck my lightening..well you know! booked cambodia we leave tomorrow morn at 7.30am on a 9hr trip that gets us to Angkor Wat, also the driver gets out at the border for you to sort out the visa, so we'll be safe. We tried to go to the Grand Palace today but got told so many different things about it being closed then open we didnt get round to it. The tuk tuk drivers really try to con you and actually take you to expensive tailors/jewellery shops and make u go in and look around. its humilating and we even got told to leave a jellwery shop. Avoiding tuk tuks from now on. Im so glad we are with the girls. I met a girl called Toni here she flew in from London same day as me so she came with us today. Going to Chinatown tonight. Quite relieved to be moving on tomorrow.
