A bit behind on the blog and am now in Chiang Mai. Laos was very laid back but beautiful. We did tubing for a day which was really fun. I rented a big rubber ring type thing and u sit on it and travel down the river to different bars made mostly from bamboo and they pull you in. Som arrived in Laos this afternoon after a 22hr bus ride..from hell! They'd overbooked the bus so there were locals sitting/laying in the aisles on plastic stools.
