Yesterday we made out way to Cambodia from Bangkok. After 12 hours, 2 cab rides, a rickety train, a tuk tuk and another cab, we arrived in siem reap! Absolutely knackered of course. We booked our hostel previously which then apparently was being renovated then managed to find another with the help of our tuk tuk driver. We had a good first night in siem reap, pub street wasn't exactly as it said but there are nice bars and restaurants! Much preferred to Bangkok...

So me and Emma got into Bangkok a little earlier than expected. Our cab only took half an hour from the airport although our hostel wasn't in the centre of Bangkok. We freshened up and made our way to khao San road to do the touristy thing... Wasn't impressed with Bangkok in general.. Ate some good Thai food and had some good Thai beer (and a bucket) . The next day (20th) we picked up rhos from the airport and looked forward to showing her why we'd seen so far......
