Madrid doesn't get light until 10am so we didn't see any point in getting up any earlier then that. I've never been somewhere where it gets light so late. We walked around for ages, did some shopping, there really wasn't much going on in Madrid. Then we headed for our overnight train to Lisbon.

I would highly recommend catching the overnight bus when you've had to much sangria. I passed out as soon as I got on the bus and didn't wake up until we got here in Madrid. We found a little coffee shop had a coffee and it made me sick, I couldn't stop dry heaving up the road. When we got to the hostel I just had to sleep.
