We landed in Geneva on time for once, yay! We came out of the airport and it was pretty cold but the day was sunny and nice. We got on a quick train ride to the hostel and checked in. The hostel cost €36 each which is three times what we usually pay and quite frankly I've stayed in way nicer hostels but that's the price to pay to stay in Geneva. We walked around the lake and the trees were stunning, everything was so green it was a refreshing change. We stayed more in the city so it wasn't exactly all the old buildings that I imagined Switzerland would have.
