Got up, did our faces and hair for some cute Venice pictures and hopped onto the bus into Venice.

When we arrived I couldn't get over it. A whole town just on the water, no cars just boats. The water was so blue and people drive boats so crazily. I had a heart attack watching this one guy reverse his boat back through a few other boats. We wandered around and found a huge castle and decided we wanted a hot chocolate. The sign out the front said they were only €2.5 each then come time to pay they charged us €13. So ultimately we used all our cash and both my cards had been barred because if only took the bank 1 month to realise I was over seas.

Eventually we just wanted food so we hopped on a bus back and finally were able to call the bank and get my cards working again. Then some old guy let us borrow some bikes from the grounds and we rode around a little.

But basically the picture for this blog is the only gondola I got to ride because apparently they cost more then €0.35.
