Today we went to the Chatuchat weekend market which was HUGE! We decided after walking around for 4 hours that we had only covered about a quarter of it (a little bit bigger than Ossett market)! It was a bit too hot to fully exude the enthusiasm for shopping that we normally do as there was a lot of sweat going on and also we had to bear in mind that anything that we wanted to buy we would need to carry around with us for 4 months! I really wanted to get a 2 foot wide bowel to go in the new conservatory but Em said we couldn't. I did thing it was really funny to see a Thai cowboy!

We are going to the river Kwai tomorrow and are having to get up at 6 am which I'm not too happy about but we do get to go an an elephant ride too so that's quite exciting. I doubt that it will be as scary as a Tuck Tuck ride though. It would be a lot safer to go around Bangkok elephant rather than a flimsy bike like vehicle I'm sure!
