Am slightly disturbed by the bare chested grass skirt image! thanks Mum!!! Also, you make it sound like my hat cost a lot more than twenty quid (maybe i should go along with that?!)...You see Ed...All Mums can be irritating, I think it is pat of the job description (I've been practicing for years!)
Can't wait to see you two, have you'found yourselves' or been 'spiritually enlightened'? Or have you just had fun and drunk lots of wine???
Take care
Lots of love, Bec x x x

Well, how cool is Chile?
I thought that was funny even if everyone else groans!
Since my promotion I have turned into a proper working woman bringing work home like everyone else has done for years. Which is why I am sitting here reading your blog instead of getting on with it.
It is is frustrating, as it is the first day the sun has shone and it isn,t actually raining...I want to be in the garden. Still if we are getting all this rain now, maybe it will be glorious for the wedding in August. Rebecca and I have got our outfits..and Rebecca has a hat....and it cost more than mine. Not that that was hard as mine was a real walker style bargain. We are all keen to know if you two will be coming in those tight silk numbers from the far east, bare chested with revealling grass skirts from NZ or what you might need, a brightly coloured blanket and bowler hat from Peru. I will be very disappointed if it is a maxi dress from Topshop.
Oh dear, better get on with the work then maybe the rain will hold off to get in the garden too.
Lots of love xxx

Hi, How's Chilie? You said it was cold there, hope it is warming up and that you are having a good time with Asher and Chris.
It is like winter here at the moment and I even put the heating on Tuesday night, it was so cold. We have had torrential rain and there are floods across the north of England. Fortunately we are OK in Wakefield and even Bradford seems to have escaped the worst. But Sheffield and Doncaster have had serious flooding. Your dad has gone to work today and they have now opened the M1 but it has been closed for several days because of fear of a dam collapsing.
The rain has been a good test for the conservatory but unfortunately plenty of water has found its way in! The lastest is that the windows will all have to come out and be resealed before going back in again. On a good note, the skirting board is fitted and so is the radiator. The block paving is coming along outside the house but I don't think they will finish by the end of the week because yet more rain is forecast for tomorrow.
Ed has now finished his exams and we see little of him as he has to sleep a lot - the exams obviously took a lot out of him!
Anyway all well here, plenty of cleaning and decorating to keep us busy - let us know what Chilie is like. xxx
