Well im now in the worlds longest country, and the worlds driest desert, the atacama desert in Chile!!

arrived yesterday after spending 8 or so hours on buses, and trying to cross the border. i had some police officer open my bag up and route through all my stuff, he even smelt my bottle of shampoo, i laughed at this point which he did not find amusing.

In a town of Arica, which is mean to be one of South Americas surf centrals. except theres hardly anyone here. it is meant to be the wet season, but there arent many clouds in the sky so little confused there. spent today lying on the beach. not getting much of a tan though just because the sun is so strong here im slapping on sf 30 every ten minutes. jelly fish all in the sea so couldnt go in. think we may try look for another beach tomorrow. the waves are amazingly big, definately cant learn how to surf on them. il wait till i see baby waves before hiring a surf board.
