A day of exploration! We took a shuttle bus to Franz Josef car park and walked four different tracks at the base camp around the glacier.

The first one was a track to the bottom of a valley and where the beginning of the glacier tour was, really massive and we only saw the end of the glacier.
Then we walked two other shorter tracks where you could see the glacier from different angels and the final track was to a lake called Lake Wombat. The way up to the lake was really tuff, almost upside hills all the way. But when we got to the lake it was so worth, the place was really peaceful.
The way back was much easier and it took no time to get to the shuttle bus who drove us back.

We made some food and watched a movie Emelie's grandmother had told her to se a long time ago, but that she hadn't done yet. It's called the bridges of Madison County, it was so sad. Krista wiped away a tear at the end.
