The early mornings continues. Today we got up around 6am to get ready for our pick up from the hostel to the railway station. We took a alpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth, a railway that's in the top six if the worlds most beautiful railways.
And it was really majestic and beautiful with all the mountains close by, gorges, lakes, streams and bridges.

We arrived around 1pm and our bus left at 1.30pm so we didn't have much time to find some good food, so we had some McDonalds food to go... We rushed back and forced our lovely food down in our poor stomaches. We could really feel how stressed Americans are feeling. After this we both didn't feel to good.

Anyhow, the bus trip from Greymouth to Franz Josef was nice. Did some stops and enjoyed to window view while we we're passing by the nature.

We arrived to Franz Josef Village in the afternoon and we checked in, checked out the cute village and went back for some food and watch a movie called Crash, a really really good one!
Then we went to sleep, tomorrow we gonna explore the area around Franz Josef Glacier.
