We decided to go "off-Klaus" and take our own side trip today. The hotel we were staying at in Page, AZ had tons of photos up of beautiful red rock formations and we wanted to go see them for ourselves. A t-shirt in the gift shop revealed that the red rocks were "Antelope Canyon" (not a mystical talking t-shirt, it just had a picture on it...) so we decided to head out there. Antelope Canyon is located on Navajo land so tours are operated by Navajo Nation Parks ...

Today was a bucket list day. Not only did Dan and I get to see the Grand Canyon but we also drove on part of old Route 66 (yes, both of us, I did it too, yay!) BTW, for this blog entry's title to have any chance of working you have to saying it in a Kiwi accent... Today was the day I finally stopped wussing out and took Senna for a little spin. After completing challenge 1 "back out of parking space without knocking over shiny Harley" my confidence was up a little. Instructor Dan talked me through a drive around the block. I could do it all: Drive on the correct side of the road, left turns, right turns, reversing, speed limits, you name it... Except stop signs. I ran my first stop sign. D'oh!
