hi folks, enjoying the blog. havent been on for a while as we had a virus on the computer but back to normal now.been reading your journal at traceys and having a laugh at your exploits. looking forward to lanyas party on friday night. all the usual suspects are going WITH PARTNERS! thats a first, so there will be no croc wrestling. jo and craig are going for their 20 week scan on thursday and will probably find out what they are having so we'll let you know. faithie is a wrecking ball and keeping the house intact is a full time job, but I'm going back to work soon. got a job with NHS24 at carlisle. interview was a nightmare, got phone senarios and told the woman to phone back in 10 minutes if the bleeding hadn't stopped. what a cop out. didn't know the remedy for a nose bleed. had been swatting up on things like cardiac arrest so that threw me. who the hell phones up for a nosebleed? anyways, got the job. jo and me have started a computer course so its the blind leading the very blind(me).wont be the same without you on friday night but we'll have a wee drink for you. take care xxx

I did not know you were going to New Zealand. I take it you have left your Camper van behind in Australia.
I can just picture you and Fuzz on the slopes getting Ski lessons and Fuzz not having his ski board with him. It must be a very special board for him to have it shipped out there and then to travel 8 hrs to pick it up.
Not a lot going on here in ANNAN. It is our 30th wedding Annivesary today and Lanya will be 50 tomorrow. She is getting very excited about her party on Friday she has got loads of folk going about 280 I think.
Stephen goes bach down the road to Plymouth tomorrow but he should be back up on Friday for the Party.
He goes to Noth Africa for 2 months in September.
Joane is keeping fine Craig and her are going to see Robbie Williams on Saturday at Glasgow.
Look forward to seeing your next Journal entrie and some more photos.
Take care.

hi there,
sorry its been so long since the last entry but we have been really busy working and trying to squeeze in a social life. have developed a love of a cocktail and a water pipe everynight before bed down at the new tintin bar. it sits across from the river now and there is live music everynight so it is great to go and just chill out after a long day. well i say chill but is has been a while since i felt cold. i have forgotten what it it like to walk with out breaking out in a sweat. ive just spent the last 2 hrs catching up on ironing in the house its a nightmare as we are showering and changing 3/4times a day. could do with a week back in scotland to cool off.
had a day out in marmaris at the w/end. ok for a visit but it was so nice to get back home at the end. it is just so tacky and everything and everybody is so in your face all the time. im pleased i know enough turkish to chase most of the touts away.
musti is really chuffed this week as he has been featured in the local paper as one of the best looking barmen in town!!! in sure he paid the editor.
heading for a massage and turkish bath on thursday with some of the customers can i cant wait to pampered for a bit. dont worry douglas i wont forget to take my hairbrush unlike somebody else we both know!!
hope you are having a great time over in NZ enjoy the cold weather!! love you loadsXXXXX
Hayley

Hi guys,
wow, lots more amazing things! Are you ever going to come back to normal lives?????
Totally panicked here, with all the airport stuff, off to Bulgaria tomorow but flying from Gatwick. Not looking forward to 3hours on a plane with the boys & no gameboys to entertain them.
Well should be good when we finally get there, have been looking forward to it for weeks & weeks.
Keep enjoying.

Forgot to mention sent you pics of Millie to your normal email. xx
Theresa,ross And Millie-Ann
Good morning,
And how refreshed do I feel. A whole night without Millie-Ann and the first full nights sleep I've had for 21 months!! Bliss, bliss, bliss. In case you wonder where she is we put her in the potting shed overnight with all her outdoor toys. Will go and check on her in a minute........ No, she's at Mums. we are going to Paulie and Leannes wedding today so mum kindly offered 2 nights sleepover. And truthfully I've not felt so refreshed in ages. Don't actually need a lie in anymore just quality sleep. Poor ross is at work. That's twice now he's asked for days off for weddings and conveniently they keep forgetting and he has to work in the morning. But Colin promised the lads would take some post off him so he can finish early, because, as you know the post must always get through!!!
Your update on the blog is fab. You've crammed loads in. It's so fab reading it all-like tuning in to your own travel programme. And tell you what that's an amazingly straight handstand you do Em. And Fuzzy the reason you can now do handstands is because you're in Oz and everything is upside down there so it's easy!! Not that I would be able to do them. Can just about manage a roly poly!
The wedding today is at Inn on the Lake in Ullswater- apparently very lovely. It's where they filmed 'The Lakes', which I didn't really watch but do remember the hotel. Anyway, naturally the champagne is accompanying us to it. Carol-Ann went there yesterday and took about 10 million ice blocks with her to chill hers. I have 2 bottles to take today and have frozen the usual bottles of water to chill accordingly. Am thinking may need to purchase more before I go, especially as I haven't partaken since the last wedding (and at least everyone will know what's coming as most were at last wedding. On plus side can have lie down in Carol-Ann's room if worst comes to worst). We are travelling on the bus to and from the venue which I'm sure will be fine. Couldn't quite afford to stay in the hotel, especially as you have to book in for 2 nights! I am wearing my outfit as selected for Elaine and Colins wedding. I imagine if (and when) I start flashing my knickers today nobody will bat an eyelid as they will have seen them before (yes the Bridget Jones knickers are back out which in my head are obviuosly going to shrink me to a size 8 and as long as I don't encounter a mirror I can believe that).
OOh Orson on the radio just having a wee bop and sing now. Fab song and fab album. Ok am back now. If Millie were here now she would also have been dancing. It's truly fab now and amazing how much she learns everyday. She is now jumping which proved to be an extremely interesing night when we put herin her new bed for the first time. Ross went off to watch footie and I went to settle her. after 2 hours of bouncing on the bed I wondered if Millie was somewhat mental or perhaps had some form of obscure eyesight problem and was mistaking the bed for a trampoline. Every walk now involves jumping off every step, kerb, wall that she can find acccompanied with her yelling JUMP! Mind you have to say I joined in last night and did enjoy myslef (just comfirming to all the neighbours I am beyond saving). Anyway, we are no further forward really onthe bed thing. She has managed to sleep in it for only one whole night since getting it 10 days ago. Now she can get up she likes to pop into our room, and also bring things for me (take note she never goes to wake Ross up). The other morning she appeared at half four with a football for me! Very kind but not for me! So have succumbed to something said would never do and she comes into our bed (need my sleep) where she settles immediately and then procedds to take up the whole bed. How do they do that. There's Ross and I on a proverbial ledge and she is stretched out like Jesus on the cross often snoring for good measure!! Speaking of football Ross now has her enlisted for Celtic as the first female professional. Have to say in fairness she is excellent with a ball and can volley, do rebounds and headers. She also has goalposts in the garden now (God help us all). And my left kick seems to be improving too with all this practice.
Well, better get on as have dog to walk, legs to shave, fake tan to apply, champagne to drink etc. etc.
Safe travelling and wrap up warm. If you need an address f or NZ text us and we can sort you out with Fiona (ross sister). Post wedding blog to follow....... xxxxxx
