You both sound as if you have had a great time on the farm maybe a change of carreeer when you get back home.
Liked the new pictures you posted but there does not seem much room in the camper van for both of you to sleep.Just as well you stopped in the barn on the farm.

Hello,
Firstly Carol-Ann says hello to Bernie. She's away to India today with work til next Tues. Secondly have some public grovelling to do. Sef very upset he was not mentioned in the last email as he is indeed a crucial part of the Gallus Productions ROM technical/DIY team and without him and Ross our guitars and keys and tuck shop would never have been made. They did a grand job as ever! We were the Mnkees in the parade - but the twist being we dressed as Monks with keys and guitars and played monkee music and pushed a bed. However we made it as far as the traffic lights on the high street and the wheels fell off the bed so our finale was somewhat dampened. Not to worry. we managed 2nd in the humourous section and 2nd in the walking. At least I don't have to clean the cup and get it engraved this year. Back with a vengeance next year to regain our crown!! Will send you a photo Em on your own address.
Managed to remain relatively sober this ROM. Quite impressed with myself. This is because I avoided vast quantities of champagne (Carol-Ann, Pam O and Gill had 9 bottles with them!) and steadfastly drank my crazy vimto with the odd gin n tonic. Have decided champagne is not for guzzling (taken me a while but realised I tend to gulp glasses rather than sip which must surely explain my extreme drunken states????). Not that I'm giving it up yet. Indeed pam and I have a Friday Afternoon Club planned this week. This is now tradition where Pam collects her flexi-time the n she takes half day Friday, comes to my house and we have a wee bottle or 2 of champagne. The good thing is we start at about 2pm and stop about 6pm and have tea thus enjoying a leisurely afternoon with no hangover next day. We also have guests of honour such as Sef and Michael Newton and Sid and Susan J and Helen. So far Carol-Ann has been unalbe to attend as she is usually away the week we plan it! We do this about once a month. It was fab when Pam had foot n mouth as she was off for 6 weeks so we had many leisurely Friday afternoons. Recommend it to all! Anyway off to do a spot of gardening now as still on holiday! Millie asleep on the couch but sure she'll be out to join me when she wakes to indulge in a bit of soil eating. Ross going out shortly back to work for afternoon round. Safe travelling xxxx

Hi Guys, Sounds like you are having a great time there. (Yes! Go for the surfing Em.)
Wales is really hot at the moment so it's probably almost as warm as winter is there.
I shall have a Barbie in your honour with some ozzy wine. Really I only wanted to send you a message cos it's ages since I left one before. :-)
Iv'e been trying to get some time off myself to go abroad but it doesn't look like it will happen now as, by the time we have the business set up, we will be working on the referrals which are already coming in. Still, that means I should be able to afford it next year.
Maybe I will make New York as I hoped to this year.
(In other words I am green with envy.)
Keep the piccies up and have shedloads of fun.
Loads of Love from 'Old' South Wales.

Hello, Firstly I would like to say to Esme I work very hard thankyou. You being a nurse I would have thought you'd know that!! And today I am emailing form home as am on holiday (more fuel to allow pondering wether I do actually work or not!!). Well, I say holiday but it is indeed Busman holiday time with ROM looming tomorrow. And yes have been frantically painting and sorting out costumes all week. Millie-Ann was generously helping me paint but decided she would rather eat the black paint and spent 2 days with black streaks round her mouth! Bless her if only she would eat her dinner as well as she eats paint, soil, paper and other assortments of things that are just not food!! She also likes carrying a tennis ball round in her mouth which I think she may have picked up from Beth (the dog - for those of you that are wondering). but hey ho keeps us entertained anyway. So there I was at the start of the week with many wooden things to make (obviuosly can only give sketchy details just now as still a secret until tomorrow) and suddenly I semed to be nominated head seamstress as well. Now I am capable of painting, building and combining clothes for fancy dress, but actuallly sewing them? oh no, I have Carol-Ann and Mum for that! Unfortunately Carol was away on business so by Wednesday having reassured everyone getting them made was no problem my panic had reached a peak. Having dyed many sheets various colours was actually thinking I would have to unearth my sewing machine (purchased at a car boot 20 years ago and used once) and give it a go. But an SOS sent the cavalry in the form of Pammy who proved to be an absolute whizz and made 7 costumes in 1 1/2 hours. Now that is so impressive. As she required a new machine mine has now got a new home and for payment we now have our resident ROM seamstress.
Elaine and Colin's wedding was fab. An abundance of champagne ( and an extra 4 bottles in our carboot) ensured I was very drunk indeed by the time the evening guests arrived. Plus was sitting at a table where 3 people were not keen on champagne so benefited there too.
Felt sure I hadn't been too bad but alas the beer goggles had shut down my memory and I have no recollection of a good 2 hours of the evening. Suffice to say i later found out I was showing everyone my hold in your belly knickers- which are never stunning at the best of times. No idea why - maybe someone out there will be able to enlighten me? Ross coped very admirably as he always does at these occasions. It's because I don't get out much now I'm a mother (that's my excuse anyway).
On returning home with guests (Pam and Sef) for a wee drink,I retired to bed - not intenionally- felt queasy went off to get the sturgeon and fell asleep on top of the bed. And there was Ross thinking he was on a promise! Anyway the outfit I wore wasn't even one of the ones purchased on our mammoth Trinny and Sussanah shop. Carol-Ann brought it home a week before the wedding- lovely pale blue dress (subsequently splashed with raspberry coulis on the day) and shrug. I had the job of finding footwear. So off I went with trepedation, dress tagging along. Went to Faith and instantly spotted a fab pair of sandals- exact coluor of blue and a bit of sparkle. Told the shop assistant about Carol-Ann and she felt sure we had done her proud. Came home Mum agreed, Ross agreed. Feeling proud of myself had full outfit on for inspection for Carol-Ann only to discover they were a "bit to mauve to look right". You know the bit in Trinny n Sussanah when they send you out shopping then reject your purchases....... say no more. 2 days later had another pair of sandals and jewellery c/o Carol-Ann. In fairness it is a beautiful outfit and I did feel great but boy you need to be thick skinned to go shopping with my sister!!!
Well I must go. Still have bits to do for tomorrow. Took last years cup for best small vehicle back on Wednesday. Don't know why as sure we'll get it back again tomorrow!!!!
Will send another message letting you know how ROM went. However could be sketchy account as have 2 litres crazy vimto made up and chilling in fridge ready! Safe travelling. xxxxxxxxx
