woke up at 7.30 after the alarm not gettin put on last night, stuffed our bagsand ran down stars to scoff some free brekkie and make lunch from the breckfast to jump on the bus for 8.00am holy crap that was a close call.

buss ride for 4 hours watchin scubs and arrive in bruges, brussels and that was a cool old fashoin town with horse and cart with awsome hot chips and sauce. quiet little town, wanted to get some chocolate for the road but you wouldnt believe the dam chocolate shop was closed, dissapointing, will have to come back another year to get belgium chocolate. 4 more hours on the bus watchin madagascar and we finally arive in amsterdam, checked in and went straight to town center, except we went completly off our map by mistake, got lost, i guess we took the senic rout. finally found the town centre and walked into our first "coffee shop". not alot of coffee getting sold here, couldnt believe my eyes when the excuange of money gave us a bag of weed. not exactly knowing how to roll a joint we asked one of the locals to roll one. first puff i had, i coughed my lungs up and hit me straight away while stacey finished half of it, cant belive took me one puff to get stoned. funny stories in amsterdam. left that coffee shop to try and find our way home before dark, 2 people asked us if "we were alright", did we really look that bad? finally found our hostel and crashed.

woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed this moring ready for another day in the dam. found this guy josh from our busabout and latched onto him all day. first things first, get to a coffee shop, feeling amsterdam already then did some more miles in our shoes walking through markets, awsome shopes and a huge array of shoe stores. have to keep remembering how mushroom i dont have in my backpack and resist buying more crap i have to carry around. i guess our next shop was to find some mushrooms. what everyone else does when they get there, gobbled up a couple of differetnt flavors and within a couple of hours we were bouncing off the walls and getting in fits of laughter. watching the swirls appear in the trees and on the pavement. dont know how josh put up with us all day but he said it was pretty funny to watch. following him around all day little little ducks, we knighted him father duck. 5 hours later we safely landed back at the hostel and fell straight asleep.

today the weather has finally been crappy. been pretty dam lucky with the weather, mid 20's so far in england france and amsterdam till today so stacey and i walked to the libary and here i am now. free interne, beats the price you pay at the hostel. 1.50 euro for 15 mins!!!! nearly had a heart attack. using the daggy ponchos that mum gave us, thinkin we were never gonna use them, stealing some stray unguarded umbrellas that we thuoght deserves to come on our adventues, now tryin to dry our shoes waiting for the sprinkling to stop. then back out to the distict to see what else amsterdam can offer us.
