1st week in La Paz is now complete! I seem to have avoided any form of altitude sickness, we are approx 4000m up, although it is tough climbing stairs and I would not wish to attempt a triathlon up here!! I have been mainly settling in, getting used to the altitude, catching up with Murray and eating/drinking! Tuesday 11/10 we went mountain biking down the worlds most dangerous road from La Paz to Coroico dropping 3000m in 64km on road just 1.5m wide! I discovered that I quite enjoy being alive and would certainly not do this trip again! Also judging by the soreness of my bum today I also discovered why I don't have a mountain bike!! Give me a smooth tarmac road and my Cannondale any day of the week!!! Lots more exciting things in the pipeline and will update with photo's soon!!!!! Thanks for your messages
