We are leaving koh Tao today- we will deffinatly miss it and the friends we have made, this is one of my favorite places as I have learnt and seen so much. Last night we had to stay in hostel for the night as out boat to the mainland wasn't until this afternoon- probally the worst place I have stayed in my life haha but for the price you can't expect much more. There we're 5 dorms each with 8 beds I however only 1 of the 4 showers was working, and the one that was working was disgusting. Anyway past that experience we are now in the travel agents waiting to be taken to board the boat to the mainland and then the overnight train in Bangkok- about an 18 hour journey and then a flight upto chaing mai so at about this time tommorow will be near to checking into our hotel up in the north of thailand - 24 hours is the quickest way to do it on a traveller budget! Atleast the train and flight has air con though! a luxury for us!
