We are officialy advanced open water divers and can now dive anywhere in the world upto 30 meters! Over the last few days we have done 6 dives, one being a night dive (terrifying) and another going down to 30m. The night dive I was so scared about, jumping off the boat into pitch black water and going under with all the sea creatures which come alive at night but it was suprisingly relaxing, our instructor gave me his torch which was really bright to ensure I felt safe and calm which I was. We saw stingrays and puffer fish and loads of others it was amazing! This was our favorite dive. The 30m one was surreal as you are so deep and you are swimming downfor what feels like ages- it was cold down there too! For our course we also had to complete and buoyancy test and navigation test which involved lots of backflips and things through hoops for the first part which I was fine at. The second part was the navigation part- I was crap! I think he ended up passing me because I made him laugh so much, safe to say I still can't use a compass, I just guessed where i was going and managed to do it just about, after having to redo it like 3 times! Anyway with that out of the way and all those dives we are finally done, next stop the Great Barrier Reef in Aus! Uncle graham will finally have some diving buddies in Barbados next year
