We arrived in Brisbane last night after an easy journey of about 45 mins. We are staying with my old next door neighbours from somerset road when they lived in England, Karen and Steph, they used to babysit me and the last time they saw me was probably about 15 years ago… it wasn't the easiest picking then out at the airport as i didn't really remember them from when i was 3! Anyway we are all sorted and staying with them in a house they are renting at the moment as they are building their own house over here…wonder who gave then that idea? Karen and Stephie are both lovely and have made us feel very welcome, they live just outside the city so its convenient for us to start looking at apartments and jobs as its only a 30 min train ride away. We have quite a few apartment viewings this week so fingers crossed we find a home.
