This morning we got up and rented some bikes for the day- yes mum I actually rode a bike! They are about £1.50 to rent for the whole day so it's a good way to see the city and the cheapest by far. We had heard of a bakery that's famous in luang Probang for it's amazing croissants and French breakfast so we set off trying to
find it. Eventually we did and by that time I was starving and nearly dying from the 35 degree heat and the cycling put ogether. But the breakfast was well worth it. Me and Jordan both had a French breakfast each but also then ended up seeing a girl we knew and stayed for lunch too; a couple of hours later then we eventually got back on our bikes. We rode around the village and by the river which was beautiful! We then went to another temple we had seen in the centre however it had around a 150m climb up the stairs to get to it; not the best mix with the heat but we slowly set off up the stairs. Halfway up the had birds in little cages you could buy to set free for good luck and freedom. I wanted to buy them all but Jordan wouldn't let me so I just had to settle for one cage. When we eventually got up the stairs it was deffinatly wort it, the views we're breath taking and you could see the whole city! I then set my little birds freeand watched them fly off; very cute! We spent the afternoon up at the top just relaxing and watching the sun start to set before we attempted the cling down. Later on we went to the night market and I bought a book in which I am going to make a scrap book out of and put in all the things we have done! I would start it now however trying to describe glue and a nice pen over here isn't too easy! Ohwell it will just have to wait!
