Early pick-up. 7:40am for our half day City Tour.
Stopped at "kiss and fly" for a warm almond danish and a flat white to start the day.
It was sunny and warm in the city but there was much traffic due to the funeral being held in St. Patricks for the Aussie Footballer Jim Styles in the middle of town. The place was cordoned off and there was a huge turnout for the city's hero.
Saw the conservatory in the park, Cooks Cottage, which was moved to this country brick by brick!
Then off to the Eurika Tower.
It's the tallest building in Australia and we were on the 88th floor.
We went out to the observation deck where the wind speed was 15 Km per hour. A bit blustery, yes!
Had lunch looking at the best view in town.
Back to the hotel to pack for another move.
We explored the arcades ( similar to the Burlington Arcade) and revisited some of the places we saw with Lyn and the girls yesterday.
We rediscovered Tiffany on Collins Street, and I was lucky enough to be gifted a lovely silver and tiffany blue enamel key by my husband. :)
More flat white coffees, then met Graham for dinner. He took us out of the city to St Kilda's where we had a lovely dinner at the Stoke House with Aussie wines and views of the sunset that were second to none.
It was as if no time had elapsed since James and Gray had last seen each other, we had a lot of laughs.
It was sad to say good bye.
