Vicky's Project I picked to volunteer at the Kolva Fisherman School. Its a small hut on the beach which is quite nice other than it gets piping hot! On average 15 children turn up each day and we all squeeze in, they are all of different ages ranging from 2 - 12, and all diffeent abilities, this make its quite hard to teach them but we do our best! Its also difficult because not many of the children turn up everyday, this is because thier families are all fish...

We've had a busy week! It's been great! We've both picked our projects, but we'll each tell you more about them in a different blog post! Shortly after we arrived at camp we had a really nice evening where all the volunteers had dinner together, sat outside! The food was all cooked outside as well and we got to help our friends Mohan & Baghi (who work at the camp) make the Naan breads! Vicky was cheif butterer and cutter in halfer! They were really yummy too...

Mudbath was great fun! Only it wasnt exactly a bath, it was more getting up close and personal to an indian woman with a bucket of mud, our skin feels lovely and soft though! In the evening we left the ashram and caught the overnight train to Goa. We were quite shocked when the train first pulled up with indian people crammed into every available space and hanging out the doors. We were in a sleeper carrige which wasnt so bad however as we walked on we were greet...

Namaste! So, we arrived safley in Mumbai and swiftly got through arrivals and baggage collection and found the idex rep easy peasy! We then hit the crazy roads of Mumbai where everyone seems to do their own thing (including the cows!) Tuk tuks nip around everywhere beeping there hornes, there are no road markings nut somehow there are no crashes either!
