Our last morning in Santorini! We tried to sleep in as long as we could this morning, but it was near impossible with our pillows! We got up and got ready and sat by the pool and waited for Steve to come and pick us up! There was a big group of us - we all piled in to the van not leaving much room at all, especially with our luggage stacked up to the roof! Steve drove us down to the port and of course our ferry was delayed!! Simon and I put all our shrapnel together and managed to have enough for two drinks and some hot chips. We sat around wasting time using the cafe's free WIFI before going to wait in the terminal for our ferry. Finally it arrived! Giving our skin a rest from the sun, we decided to sit inside! I remembered Kate had given me 'Water for Elephants' to read so I wasted time by reading! I wasn't sure how the book would go as I've seen the movie, but hours had past and we'd arrived and I didn't want to put the book down! FINALLY!! An island without many tourists! Milos is really beautiful. The water is crystal, crystal clear! We walked to our hotel and put our things down. Our hotel was the shabbiest of them all and it was really nice - I would love to see the others inside!! We walked in to town and decided to try and find an ATV rental, but in order to hire a scooter or ATV you need to have a bike licence! We had no idea what we were going to do! We walked along the waters edge up to a beach and then wandered back down to get some dinner. We came across a restaurant on the waters edge that had a lot of traditional foods and at a cheap price! As an entree we order stuffed tomatoes - I have no idea why we didn't try them sooner! They are delicious!! I had a really yummy chicken dish for dinner and Simon had souvlaki! While we were having dinner for the first time in both our lives we got to watch the moon rise over the mountain. After dinner we wandered back across the port to our room, still with no idea what we were going to do tomorrow! We came across a number of people selling sailing day tours around Milos, but alot of them finished around 6-6:30 and we had to leave at 4 :( losing all hope that we'd find anything we came across a 2.5 hour tour that did the south of the island and dropped you at a secluded beach for a swim! We decided we'd do that so we could see some of the island and not just stay at the port! :) We made our way back to the hotel and got an early night so we didn't waste any of the day!
