We spent alot of time in Patong we stayed for 8 nights in total, we went there as we were meeting Dan and Hingo for Luke's birthday on the 19th, we liked it there and was a good place to chill out as we were saving for 2 weeks of money spending. We got a really cheap hotel and spent most days at the beach or at another hotels swimming pool, i think they thought we were staying there so they let us use there pool which was great!! I also decided to get a tattoo so i had a geko on my foot as we see geko's everywhere and they will always remind me of south east asia. As i was getting mine done Luke got the bug and wanted his arm finished so he got his sleeve finished when we were there as well.

So we pretty much spent the 8 days chilling out waiting for the lads to come. After that we went up north so that it would be easier for them to meet us from the airport as it was a suprise for Luke as he thought they were coming 2 days later then they were...i got quite stressed about the whlole thing and panicked when i got a message from Dan to say they were at the airport and i thought they were coming a day later, but i held my tounge and it all went great, Luke didnt have a clue about it so was a brilliant suprise :)
