Koh Phanghan:

On Thursday 7th we travelled to Koh Phangan via taxi and boat. Luckily Somil was there to carry Ellie's bag as she could not really walk. Absolutely hanging on the ferry, seasick, then we arrived in Koh Phangan and it was raining and none of the taxi drivers knew where the hostel was so it was presumed it was a s*** hostel miles away from the full moon party. But, we finally found a tuk tuk and it turned out that our hostel was on the very brink of the full moon party, it was literally a ship on the beach, overlooking the full moon for the VIPs that we are. It was the main focal point of the whole event. It was like being on a balcony in Ushia watching Avicii. Some people may think a 30 person dorm would be horrendous, but these were the best bunk beds we had laid eyes on, they were very spacious with personal safes. It was also full of British guys and girls with great bant. The restaurant was also really nice and we had a phad Thai.
On our first night we were reunited with Kev Lee John and Lee's friend Chris. We went to a cafe with them and caught up on all the Codge Lodge goss and reminisced. Then we played nominations in traditional Codge Lodge style and Lisa won for the first time.
On Friday 8th the boys came back to have a lovely breakfast with us. They then left on their motorbike adventures and we sunbathed for the rest of the day. In the evening Jack Ethan and Dan came for dinner and cocktails with us. After dinner we had a few buckets in the beach. We went to have some laughing gas, laughed a lot then ran away and watched some fire dancers. We had a few more buckets, by this point Ethan and Lisa were pretty drunk. Everyone tried to play football with Thai people but failed. Ellie didn't go to the waterfall party because of her knee but everyone else did. Lisa was kissing Ellie's neck goodbye...it could be seen where this was heading. So Lisa Jack Ethan and Dan got a taxi to the waterfall party which was really far away and cost 400bard entry. We had to trek for ages into the rainforest, no waterfall could be seen but one could be heard and Ethan followed the sound to find a generator. We got one free vodka drink on entry, lisa had hers and Jacks and a beer and more laughing gas and the rest if the night is a blur! Apparently made it to 3am but Lisa turned into her other ego...Samara from the ring and Jack took her home in a taxi in which she fell asleep.
On Saturday Lisa and the boys came over from their hostel and we sunbathed in the rain. We had dinner at a cafe and then bought alcohol and made our own buckets. We played I Have Never, got drunk and went to the jungle party. We got a tuk tuk and Dan almost died leaning out and giving a guy on a motorbike his bucket whilst going up the worlds steepest hill. Ellie got too drunk and was stumbling around and crying at Mai Tai. Ellie and Lisa got a tuk tuk home and Ellie tried to pay with paper, and then with cigarettes.
Sunday was the day of the full moon. We got professionally painted and drunk buckets on the top of the ship which was the amazing hostel we were staying, overlooking he beach on the full moon, like he VIPs we are. We met the boys from Codge Lodge, got drunk and danced with them in this dubstep bar called Sunrise. Then we ran away to buy another bucket and found Jack wondering around on his own. After dancing with him on the beach for a while we went to find food and got completely lost somehow out of Haad Rin, really drunk. Jack got a taxi home and we stumbled around trying to get back to the beach. As the sun was rising we found the Codge Lodge boys again (minus lost crazy Dutch Kev) and we all ran into the sea like mermaids. We bumped into the buys from our hostel, were forced to have another red bull bucket and all went mad wrestling each other and running around the beach. It got to 8am and decided to go to bed as we had to be up at 10am to go to Koh Tao.
