Hi just a quickie journal update! i am now in Laos and have been here for about 5 days. spent 3 days in laung Prabang where we flew into which was lovely but very quiet place (but now am in Viang Viene i know all of Laos is quiet really!). It is supposed to be very parisian and had lots of cafes and bakeries (well i say lots just one road with a few on!) went on a trip to some caves and villages and then to some of the most amazing waterfalls i have ever seen!, will put some pictures on when i can. and got to stroke another tiger called Phet who was lovely, got some great pictures of her too!. Rest of the days in Laung Prabang were just spent sitting around relaxing. went to the cinema, which is just someones hose where you can rent a room with a tv in and pick which DVD film you want to watch which was good fun, slightly surreal! Anyway left Laung Prabang yesterday and got here, Viang viene (which i think is spelt wrong!) yesterday afternoon after the scariest coach journey in the world. This country is so mountaineous, i don't think there are any flat bits and the coach driver was going so fast round really steep bendy mountain roads! i tries to sleep for most of the 6 hour journey!! The scenery i saw though was amazing. And now having been here just over a day we managed to spend all last night sitting in cafe watching non stop episodes of friends (its big thing out here it was packed) and have now just found a place that does non stop Red dwarf, its fantastic! believe me there isn't much else to do here at night anyway. Going tubing tomorrow (sailing down the river in an infaltable rubber tube, stopping off a bars and cafes along the way, its supposed to be great!) i'll let you know. Take care Luv you all lots elle
