Reasons to Love Laos. It is very different to what I expected it to be like, although to be honest I had no idea what to expect. Reasons I Love Kit. I would like to take a minute (just sit right there...) to tell you a little bit about out FANTASTIC tour leader in Laos. His name was Kit and he was an absolute legend. The best boat trip ever and a very dull Huay Xai The day following our truely amazing bus ride we were due for another LONG day of travelling, which was, as I'm sure you can imagine, just what we were all dreaming of. Village homestay and a magical bus ride. We left Louang Phabang early in the morning and got on a boat, well three boats actually.
