Packed and ready to go - 7kg!!
Spent today with all my sisters and mother which was a lovely way of preparing for my next trip. Sadly it was the ruin of my nails as we were spring cleaning. This means one of the first things I will be doing is having a manicure.
I have heard many things said about British Rail - well today they have been great. Jean dropped me off at Ebbsfleet, a lovely man sold me a ticket and said platform 5. I found the correct platform and had to wait the grand total of 4 minutes for the train, which arrived dead on time. At St Pancreas I walked to the underground and had to wait 2 minutes for a train to the right terminal. There was plenty of room on both trains and I didn’t have to stand - amazing as it was rush hour.
The hotel is lovely and they were expecting me - so far so good!!
