After 3 days walking up hill and down dale we finally arrived at Nyaungshwe a lovely little town on the shores of Inle Lake. The walk was great - not hard as it is dry season. Kalaw is a lovely little town high in the hills and 10 degrees cooler than it was in Yangon. Left Sheila in bed and went to a Pagoda in a cave, or I should say a series of caves. It was a surprise as I was expecting one little Buddha but instead found cavern after cavern full of Buddhas . They were of all sizes and some had neon lights around his head. Well what can I say about the last couple of days - Good and Bad. Spent today going to places in Yangon that I don’t think Sheila will want to see as it would be a shame to spend time looking at the same things twice.
